February Ipsy Bag Review

feb glamA few weeks ago we did a blog on Ipsy and had a great response, so I wanted to share with you what was in my February Bag. For those who missed it and who don’t know what Ipsy is, it’s a $10 a month beauty subscription. Tipsy sends you 5 beauty products in a themed makeup bag. Ipsy gives each customer a survey when signing up, which allows Ipsy to better understand your individual preferences, style, and facial features. If you ever feel as though you are getting products you don’t enjoy, you can change your preferences at any time. Ipsy also provides you with discounts to the brands they include, as well as the option to rate/review products for points that you can redeem for additional products.

Ipsy BagEach monthly bag comes in the cute pink metallic bubble wrap package, and in a makeup bag that fits the month. This month it was for Valentine’s Day.

Feb bag

This was the adorable bag my beauty items came in for the month of February. I’m going to include my first impressions of the product, the price for the item (sometimes it’s a full size), and after a few weeks of using the products I will update on how they worked. So without further ado, my February glam bag!

  1. My amazing leave in secret:spray conditioner

This is a leave in conditioner for dry, damaged hair. It does not have a scent (which I like for a leave in) and has a consistency that is easy to work into your hair. I’ve used this product once and I really did like it,  it helped my thick, tangled hair to be soft and manageable. Ipsy provides you with a 1 fluid oz amount.

Price- 3.4 fluid oz $21 (including shipping). Ipsy offers a 20% discount after  you receive a product from this brand.

2. Bellapierre Cosmetics Mineral Blush (Desert Rose)

This blush is a loose powder blush, in a shade that was perfect for my skin tone. It has a very natural finish, which gives you a perfect flush of color. I’ve used this blush twice, and it’s now my go to blush! I received a 6 g.  amount in my container.

Price- $20 for 4 g. Ipsy offers a 25% discount after you receive a product from the  brand.

3.  It-Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer (Neutral Medium)

This concealer is seriously magic in a bottle, I love it! It is waterproof, has anti-aging properties, and covers everything! I tested this product to cover my tattoo and it is completely hidden with the smallest amount. I definitely recommend this for anyone who is looking for a full coverage concealer. iPad provides you with a .11 oz container.

Price- $24 for .28 oz.

4.   Dr.  Brandt Poredermabrasion exfoliator

This is an exfoliator you use 1-2 times a week to help diminish the look of large pores. This product has a minty scent, and when I tested it on my hand it felt nice and gentle, but effective. I have not tried it on my face yet, so stay tuned for a before and after of me using this product! I received .25 oz or 7.5 g  in my sample.

Price- $58 for 2.0 oz or 60 g. Ipsy offers a 20% discount when you receive a product from the brand.

5.     Luxie Beauty Small Tapered Blending Brush

This brush is adorable in its pink shiny finish. It is a great brush for blending, or applying color. It is a duo-fiber brush, which means that there are two types of hairs, which you can tell by the color change. It’s a densely packed brush, and it will fit perfectly into my collection, and makeup routine.

Price- $12. Ipsy offers a 30% discount when you receive a product from this brand.

BONUS** I also received an additional product in this bag from reviewing other products I have received in prior months bags from Ipsy*****

6.   Laneige Water Sleeping Mask

This mask should be used over night 1-2 times week to restore moisture to your skin. I am very excited to use this mask because I have very dry skin in the winter months. The mask smells very clean and fresh with a hint of orange. I will be doing an update of this mask.

Ipsy gives a 0.6 oz sample.

Price- $23 for 2.705 oz.

P.S. Overall if you add up the cost of the regular size products it would cost someone $158 (including the sleeping mask) to buy these products and I only paid $10! I think this bag was amazing for the price and I loved all of the products. Stay tuned for an update on these products.
